About the course
Governments all over the world are urging citizens to train and educate themselves in order to stay competitive in a connected world. Critical discourses on globalization require the ability to learn in situations that span vast cultural and geographic divides. Our programme is for those who wish to understand adult learning in the framework of global change within a unique digital learning format that has won international acclaim.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, with a major in education, adult learning or other subject relevant to the field of adult learning
or
Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, and additional academic studies relevant to the field of adult learning
or
Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, and additional documented work experience of at least three years in adult education.
- English, normally attested by by means of an internationally recognized test

Fees
Citizens from within the EU/EEA and Switzerland: No tuition fees. All others: 96,000 SEK (approx. 11,300 USD/10,000 Euro).

LiU International Scholarships are aimed at supporting international students with significant academic potential from countries outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland) who are required to pay tuition fees. We offer a limited number of LiU International Scholarships to new students. The tuition fees for a student awarded a LiU International Scholarship are reduced by 25, 50, 75 or 100%.

Eligibility
Students who have applied for a master’s programme at Linköping University on time (15 January , AND
- have chosen a master’s programme at Linköping University as their first priority
(ranked as number 1 of 4) AND
- have been admitted to their first choice in the First Notification of Selection Results
(6 April 2018), AND
- are required to pay tuition fees.
Application Procedure
Admitted students will be invited to apply in early April.
