Over recent years the role accounting professionals play in business decisions has become increasingly important to the success of any organisation. As a qualified accountant, this course will allow you to refresh your technical skills and develop new ways of thinking about current issues in both management and financial accounting.
You will examine the latest techniques being used in industry, looking at real life case studies and comparing these to the practices used within your own workplace. Working with fellow students, you will also look at the growing importance of financial reporting, discussing accounting standards and how these could be developed to improve your own organisation's fiscal statements.
If you are studying on campus, you can choose to study on a weekly basis to help fit around other commitments, or you could attend a two-week intensive programme, with online support to guide you as you work at your own pace, from anywhere in the world.
