Fashion design, wholesaling and retailing have grown dramatically in the last five years, with 10,000 fashion-related jobs. There are 4,600 fashion retail firms in Toronto that generate annual sales of $2.6 billion. Sales have grown by 6.4 per cent in the last year. Employment in the wholesale and retail trade grew by 34.5 per cent or 13,000 jobs in the last five years.

Marketing managers research and analyze markets, develop products, design communications and promotional strategies, draft sales presentations, decide pricing and distribution policy, and build brands – all to satisfy customer needs and wants and the organization’s goals and objectives. Our recent graduates work as account executives, assistant brand managers, marketing analysts, marketing researchers, sales co-ordinators and marketing co-ordinators/managers.
