About the course
Accredited by the Association of MBAs, EQUIS, AACSB, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Consulting
The Sheffield MBA blends world-class research with hands-on experience. You can study full-time or part-time.
Throughout the course, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to real-world scenarios and will receive insight from organisations via field trips or guest lectures.
The course is based on three big challenges: leadership, entrepreneurship and consultancy. We’ll encourage you to think and act creatively so you’ll learn the skills every strong leader needs.
• Act as a consultant to a real company
• Work on an extended project with an organisation
• Spend summer at a leading university overseas
When you take your MBA at Sheffield you’re setting your sights on an extraordinary career. You’re refusing to settle for second best. As you move from one achievement to the next, we’ll be there every step of the way to offer support and guidance. One year with us and you won‘t just exceed employers’ expectations – you’ll surprise yourself.
Our graduates work for companies such as Adidas, ASDA, Boots, ExxonMobil, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Pepsico International, Sainsbury’s and Vodafone. Their job titles include Head of Business Enhancement, Management Consultant, Product Marketing Manager, Web Marketing Consultant and Campaign Manager.
An MBA can help you change direction or progress faster within your organisation. A specialist MSc can take you into a particular field of management such as human resources, finance or marketing. You might be inspired to set up a company of your own.
