We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
One of Britain's most famous and historic ports, the city of Bristol is situated in the south west of England, a little over 100 miles from London and across the Severn Estuary from South Wales. It is home to two universities and over 45,000 students.
Postgraduate students in Bristol benefit from the range of opportunities and experiences offered by one of England's largest regional cities. You'll be able to check out a music scene that has produced internationally renowned acts as diverse as The Eagles, Nik Kershaw and Massive Attack as well as visit some of the famous venues they've played at.
Bristol is also the site of numerous works by the acclaimed - and anonymous - 'local' street artist, Banksy, so you can look forward to telling friends and family you've (probably) bumped into him. Other popular attractions in Bristol include one of the world's oldest zoos (and rare species breeding centres) as well as a large modern shopping centre.
The oldest univerity in Bristol is The University of Bristol, which was founded in 1909. It was a founding member of the Russell Group of leading UK universities and is now ranked as one of the top ten higher education institutions in the UK and one of the top 100 global universities.
Bristol is also home to The University of the West of England, founded in 1992 and recognised as one of the best new universities in the UK. Alongside its universities, Bristol is renowned as a UK science and engineering hub and a significant centre of aerospace research.
