Bournemouth University, Faculty of Science & Technology Masters Degrees

We have 26 Bournemouth University, Faculty of Science & Technology Masters Degrees

The Faculty of Science & Technology is a vibrant community of academics, students and support staff. We offer a science and research based education in a range of natural and physical sciences. Our technology courses are taught in an innovative environment and all our graduates are well equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to meet the changing requirements of today’s employers.

Bournemouth University is ideally situated for both coastal and inland geographical and ecological studies as well as being located in one of Britain’s richest regions for ancient monuments and archaeological remains. We have a wealth of natural resources on the doorstep; the Dorset coast (a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site), the historic towns of Salisbury and Winchester, the Wessex Downs, the Dorset heaths, Poole Harbour and the New Forest National Park.

Within the Faculty, there are excellent computer and laboratory amenities, including dedicated research laboratories with high specification analytical equipment plus technical and experimental facilities. Additionally, the Faculty has dedicated conservation workshops, a Geographical Information System and Analysis suite, a cartographic studio and map library as well as archaeological research collections with many artefacts derived from excavations and research.

Bournemouth University is pioneering the delivery of knowledge transfer and research at the science-interface. The Environmental and Geographical Sciences Group (EGS) is at the frontier of this agenda. The nature of our relationship with employers means that most of our research is directed at tackling problems of noted significance to commerce, industry and the public sector. The organisations that sponsor us demand innovative, meaningful research. We want to attract and keep their support by meeting their expectations.

The Faculty has a strong focus on industry and the professions and boasts close links with the companies that employ our students. On the Technology side, degrees are divided into four distinct areas: Design & Engineering, Computing & Informatics and Psychology.
