University of Brighton

University of Brighton

The University of Brighton is one of the most popular universities in the UK. We have a community of around 4,000 postgraduate students from a diverse range of backgrounds, studying at outstanding locations on the south coast of England.

To help you balance your work and life commitments we offer flexible study options as well as opportunities to study individual masters-level modules for continuing professional development. We also offer a range of scholarships specifically for postgraduate students.

The University of Brighton also has one of the best teaching quality ratings in the UK. We have received five National Teaching Fellowships and hold the Matrix Standard, recognising the quality of our student advice, counselling and support services.

In the last decade, the University of Brighton has invested more than £100 million on the equipment and facilities our students use every day.

Brighton is a research active community with a multidisciplinary approach to research running through all of our faculties. Our students' learning experience is enriched by the high quality of that research and the last Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 ranked us in the top 25% of universities for our world-leading research impact.

There is lots of support available to all of our students, including learning support, support for disabled students (including dyslexia), careers services and student advice services.

Campuses and locations

The University of Brighton is spread across five campuses in three locations on the south coast of England. The university's campuses combine English architecture with modern buildings and facilities.

Brighton is home to three of our five campuses and we also have campuses in Eastbourne and Hastings.
