The UCD Master of Accounting Degree is the
oldest (founded 1979) and most prestigious
Master of Accounting Programme in Ireland. Since
its inception more than 1,800 people have
graduated from the programme. Graduates
occupy key positions in the accounting profession
and commercial life in Ireland, the UK, the US and
in other countries. The programme aims to
prepare students for their professional careers,
and provide them with the necessary technical,
communication and IT skills necessary to rapidly
progress to senior management positions.
As a graduate of the MAcc programme, you are
exempt from all but the final examinations of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

The programme provides:
• Functional and technical competencies in
decision modelling, risk analysis, measurement,
reporting and research.
