Le Centre international de formation de l’Organisation internationale du Travail (CIF-OIT) organise, en partenariat avec l’Institut d’études politiques de Paris (« Sciences Po ») et l’Université de Turin (Italie), un programme de master en gouvernance et management des marchés publics en appui au développement durable dans lequel les participants explorent les fondements juridiques, règlementaires, économiques, managériaux et organisationnels d’un système moderne de gouvernance et de management des marchés publics.

Ce programme de master intègre des méthodes d’enseignement et des techniques d’apprentissage mixtes qui permettent aux participants d’étudier et d’assimiler la théorie et d’appliquer les connaissances de façon pratique par la réalisation de travaux, d’études de cas, de visites d’étude et d’un projet de recherche appliquée. La participation au programme permet aussi d’accéder à un réseau et d’être exposé à l’expertise, à l’expérience et au savoir-faire d’académiciens, d’experts travaillant au sein d’organismes internationaux et de spécialistes des secteurs public et privé.

La finalité du programme est de préparer les participants à occuper des fonctions exécutives ou managériales en relation avec la régulation, la passation ou la supervision des marchés publics et des contrats au niveau des administrations et des organisations internationales.

Le programme se déroule en français et il est d’unedurée totale de 12 mois.

Le programme est structuré en trois phasesd’apprentissage successives d’une durée d’environquatre mois suivant le calendrier ci-après:

La première phase

d’apprentissage se déroule à distance. Durant cette phase, les participants complètent un module deformation à distance via Internet. Cette phase commencera le 19 octobre 2015 et se terminera le 12 février 2016. Cette phase à distance permet d’initier les participants aux principes de la passation des marchés publics et de présenter les différentes étapes du processus d’acquisition de fournitures, de travaux et deservices.

La deuxième phase

d’apprentissage se déroule à Turin et consiste en une série de coursdispensés en classe par les différents experts et professeurs. Les cours débuteront sur le campusdu CIF-OIT le 15 février 2016 et se termineront le 17 juin 2016. Durant cette phase, la présence au cours est obligatoire car l’essentiel du programme de formation, des connaissances théoriques aux travaux pratiques, est délivrédurant cette période. La phase à Turin est la plus importante en raison de la densité du programme qui couvre dans le détail et enprofondeur l’ensemble des dix-huit modules.

La troisième phase

consiste en la préparation d’un projet de recherche appliquée, la rédaction d’une thèse et la soumission de cette dernière au conseil scientifique du programme. Durant cette phase, qui sedéroulera à distance, les participants seronttenus d’effectuer une recherche individuelle, sous les conseils de leur superviseur, sur un thème lié aux marchés publics et de soumettreà la fin de cette phase une thèse finale. Les grandes lignes du projet de recherche seront présentées avant le début de la phase III et la thèse finale devra être soumise au conseil scientifique avant le 16 octobre 2016.

What you'll learn

Traditionally sport science has been based on three foundational scientific disciplines - physiology, biomechanics and psychology. You’ll either study two disciplines in breadth or a single discipline in depth with a negotiated independent study.

This course provides a contemporary, interdisciplinary and applied approach to the science of sport performance enhancement. You'll have the opportunity to advance your knowledge and understanding of scientific principles in this context. You'll learn how to apply theoretical concepts and to develop practical professional skills for situations that sports scientists encounter on a daily basis.

You’ll also study research methods and data analysis and will work on an interdisciplinary team providing support services for an athlete client, which will expose you to a range of practical and ethical issues associated with support work.

You’ll be able employ advanced investigative, analytical and practical techniques in your field and increase your employability in an academic or applied setting.

You’ll also develop as a reflective practitioner, taking responsibility for your own learning and on-going professional development.

This is a one year full-time course and is split up into three trimesters.

You'll learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and through independent study. There may also be some opportunities to study abroad.

El Master en “Patrimonio Mundial y Proyectos Culturales para el Desarrollo” es un programa organizado por la Universidad de Turín, la Universidad de Barcelona, el Centro Internacional de Formación de la OIT, en colaboración con el Centro del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.

El programa pretende contribuir a la mejora de la gestión de los recursos culturales preparando a los gestores y a los profesionales para que se conviertan en activos emprendedores culturales y promuevan el desarrollo local, la generación de ingresos y la creación de empleo, enriqueciendo de este modo el enfoque tradicional de la conservación del patrimonio cultural.

El programa proporciona una sólida base en desarrollo económico, análisis de los modelos de gestión, la cooperación internacional, la economía de la cultura y las dimensiones jurídicas e institucionales que rigen las diversas categorías del patrimonio y que permiten supervisar la eficacia de su gestión.

Programa

El programa se estructura en tres fases

Primera fase: periodo de aprendizaje a distancia

(octubre – diciembre ). A través de la plataforma on-line, los estudiantes inician un programa de formación consistente en lecturas y ejercicios como preparación a los distintos módulos.

Para superar este módulo introductorio deben realizarse los ejercicios y superar una prueba escrita al llegar a Barcelona.


Segunda fase: periodo presencial intensivo

(enero – abril ) Durante su estancia en Barcelona los estudiantes realizan cursos con una carga horaria semanal de 28 horas. El programa pone atención en la gestión del patrimonio, en el diseño de proyectos y en la herramienta del marco lógico para la solicitud de fondos internacionales. El enfoque está especialmente orientado a la realidad ibero-americana.

Además de clases prácticas y talleres, el programa presencial consta de visitas y encuentros con entidades patrimoniales de Barcelona y Cataluña, y una visita de estudio a París.

Las clases se imparten de lunes a viernes de 9:30 a 18:00 hs.



Tercera fase

(abril – octubre ): elaboración del proyecto final. Los estudiantes elaboran a distancia, bajo la supervisión de un tutor, un proyecto cultural iniciado durante la etapa presencial. La formación concluye con la presentación del proyecto que será evaluado por el Comité Científico del Master.



El idioma del curso es el CASTELLANO, como idioma vehicular para la comunicación virtual y presencial con todos los alumnos.

Sin embargo, los alumnos podrán presentar sus trabajos escritos en cualquier de los siguientes idiomas: castellano, catalán, francés, inglés, italiano o portugués.

El programa está dirigido a:

Funcionarios y profesionales del sector público y privado, organismos de las Naciones Unidas, fundaciones y ONG;
Universitarios recién graduados con vocación de especialización en el desarrollo cultural y patrimonial;
Profesionales implicados en proyectos patrimoniales o interesados en diseñar y gestionarlos;
Personas que trabajan o están interesadas en proyectos del Patrimonio Mundial y en proyectos de investigación relacionados con el mismo.


El requisito indispensable para la admisión es poseer un título universitario de un mínimo de tres años (equivalente a 180 créditos ECTS).

Tasas de matrícula y disponibilidad de becas

La tasa de matrícula para la edición 2015-16 del Máster es de 8.000 Euros.

Los interesados procedentes de países emergentes tienen la posibilidad de postular a becas parciales que cubren parte del costo de la matrícula.

- Building Energy Consumption [70% exam, 10 credits]
The aim of this module is for the student to understand the impact that climate, people, equipment selection and design have on energy consumption on a range of building sizes from domestic to large commercial.

- Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Technologies [70% exam, 15 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to understand the principles of renewable energy and low carbon technologies and their integration into buildings, and to be given a perspective on the potential benefits and applications of these technologies.

- Building Control & Commissioning [70% exam, 10 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to understand the application of automatic control in energy monitoring and commissioning and to examine the control problems in buildings and develop control strategies that will improve thermal comfort and building energy use.

- Concept Design [0% exam, 15 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to be introduced to the process within which buildings are conceived and designed by undertaking the architecture design of a major building using multi-disciplinary input. Students will develop team skills through working in design groups to generate schematic concepts before developing the best. They will apply previous knowledge of building services and low carbon design in the selection process and carry out performance analysis. Students will work with 3D architectural and 3D mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems within BIM software to further develop their concepts.

- Low Carbon Building Design [50% exam, 15 credits]
The module aims to introduce the principles of low and zero carbon building with special attention to the process of design and decision-making.

- Advanced Thermal Modelling [50% exam, 15 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to understand the principles of building thermal modelling and HVAC plant simulation, and be given a perspective on the applications of these techniques to the design process.

- Advanced Airflow Modelling [50% exam, 15 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to understand the principles of building airflow and ventilation modelling with respect to comfort and energy efficiency, and be given a perspective on the applications of these techniques to the design process.

- Advanced Lighting Modelling [50% exam, 15 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to understand the principles of lighting modelling in buildings with respect to comfort and energy efficiency, and be given a perspective on the application of these techniques to the design process.

- Research Project [0% exam, 60 credits]
The aim of this module is to provide the student with experience of the process and methodology of research by defining and studying (on an individual basis) a complex problem in a specialised area relating to Building Energy

- Research Methods in Building Performance [0% exam, 10 credits]
The aims of this module are for the student to become familiar with and comprehend the wide range of research methods and skills needed to investigate, understand and communicate building performance.

Facilities

All masters students have access to a wide range of building simulation codes which include commercial software, as well as bespoke codes developed in-house. Students can run these codes on their personal laptops or access any one of our computer laboratories, including access to our recently commissioned 2000-node high performance computer cluster.

One of our key strengths at Loughborough is our experimental facilities which enable us to validate computer models. Our masters students have access to a vast range of experimental facilities, some of which are used during the taught modules and all of which are available for use by students during their research dissertations.

These include: a fully controllable environmental chamber; sophisticated thermal and breathing manikins; an indoor solar simulator; a 'darkroom' facility to carry out optical and high dynamic range measurements; and full-scale houses for pressure testing and studying innovative heating and control strategies. A recent investment of £360k was made to purchase an extensive array of monitoring and measuring equipment for use during field studies.

How you will learn

You will learn through a carefully balanced combination of lectures, in-class guided workshops, hands-on computer modelling, field measurements and independent research. Students have access to a wide range of air flow, thermal and daylight modelling software as well as extensive laboratory facilities. Following nine taught modules, students pursue a research dissertation of their choice which draws on the skills developed during the taught modules.

Students are assessed by a combination of traditional written exams, coursework and assignments. This split is typically 70/30 (exam/coursework) or 50/50, although some modules, such as research methods and concept design are assessed entirely based on coursework which comprises individual presentations and group work.

Careers and further study

Previous students have gone on to work for leading consulting engineering companies such as Arup, Pick Everad, Hoare Lea, Hulley and Kirkwood and SE Controls. Some of these companies offer work placements for students to undertake their research dissertations. Many visit the university to deliver lectures to our MSc students providing ideal opportunities for students to discuss employment opportunities.

Accreditation

The programme is accredited for further learning for CEng and professional membership by the CIBSE and Energy Institute.
The 'SE Controls prize for best overall performance' is awarded to the student graduating from this course with the highest overall mark. This presentation is made on graduation day.

Scholarships

The University offers over 100 scholarships each year to new self-financing full-time international students who are permanently resident in a county outside the European Union. These Scholarships are to the value of 25% of the programme tuition fee and that value will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

- avec un socle commun de modules fondamentaux et des modules plus spécifiques pour chaque domaine,
- un stage en fin de Master, obligatoire, de 4 à 6 mois dans un laboratoire, dans un grand organisme ou dans une entreprise.

This programme involves advanced software engineering modelling and architecting concepts and practice for designing and building modern enterprise software systems. It includes an understanding of system administration and security, distributed programming, contemporary software technologies and a critical understanding of enterprise architectures, frameworks and strategies for building internet-enabled enterprise systems.

The main tasks facing industry at the moment involve the design and development of new internet-enabled systems, the integration of legacy systems into intranets and extranets, and advanced internet publishing. There is a recognised need for the efficient management of the software engineering process using modern approaches to software development management and system administration.

There is also a pressing need for people with skills in designing, building and maintaining modern enterprise systems, project management and management of the software engineering process. These skills should be accompanied by an appreciation of the business context and market forces behind the new technologies.

This programme educates students in the theory, practice, tools and applications necessary for the design, management and deployment of enterprise computing systems. Students can choose options specialising in network technologies, data architectures and database technologies, web services and clouds, or user centred and interactive systems.
