*PLEASE NOTE. this course is subject to approval*. The MSc Advanced Practice (Paramedic Science) is an exciting course focusing on developing paramedics from all areas of practice (clinical, managerial, education and control centres).
This course will teach you the skills you need to make an impact on this new, exciting position within healthcare. It will enable you to develop the well-rounded knowledge and skills that modern practice demands and which potential employers search for. .
This form must be completed to support your application. Preceptor Declaration, and an original copy MUST be submitted to the Faculty by post or handed into the Faculty office.
One of the distinctive factors of this course is in the title ‘Advanced Forensic Practice’. The term ‘Advanced’ in the title has not been used lightly.
This is an intensive two-year clinical course open to applicants with a first-degree in a health or science related subject. This course prepares you to work as a Physician Associate (PA) in the NHS.
Over the last 10 years, physician associates have been employed throughout the UK in increasing numbers. There is great demand for newly qualified professionals in this emerging role within the NHS in both acute and primary care.
