The University of Limerick have been delivering specialist, professional project management education for over 20 years. This 2 year, part time, fully online, level 9 course is fully accredited masters by the University of Limerick.

The programme is fully aligned with the University of Limerick standard course structure. There are two 'taught' semesters of 15 weeks each with 3 Autumn modules and 2 Spring modules per year, with project work during the Summer. Prior to starting the programme, learners participate in a 1 week on-line induction.

The programme will be delivered through a blend of online interaction and engagement with academics and industry professionals, remote self-directed learning, and group project work, discussions, debates and presentations. Each module will have a specific learning path design offering flexibility of access to materials, video/audio recordings and live interactions through a dedicated learning management portal. This novel course applies a multidisciplinary approach to environmental sustainability based on the specialisms of NUI Galway and University of Limerick. You investigate biodiversity and conservation during Semester 1 in NUI Galway, and evaluate urban sustainability in UL for Semester 2. Much of the teaching is delivered through fieldwork in Semester 1 and there is usually a European fieldtrip in Semester 2. You spend Semester 3 undertaking a research project, based at either institution. Assessment is ongoing and there are no exams. You avail of facilities from both colleges throughout the year and will graduate with a jointly awarded degree.

Global-MINDS is a comprehensive 2- year study programme focusing on insights from Social and Cultural Psychology and applying them to contemporary societal issues. Students receive a thorough education in social and cultural psychological theory, research and methods, as well as training in intercultural skills – assets that are indispensable in today´s global knowledge economy and multicultural working environments. The programme includes an internationalization component that is indispensable for such a master.

The main focus of the course will be on the use and teaching of the English language in a global context. This focus will address an international need for professional development, especially among teachers of English. The Masters in Applied Linguistics aims to provide a broad-based course of study in language description (language systems: grammar, lexis and phonology), theories of Applied Linguistics, frameworks for the study of discourse, as well as specialist research skills for the empirical analysis of language in context. The course will run over three semesters (one and a half years). Semesters 1 and 2 will involve taught modules (online lectures and activities).
