Once the degree has been completed, this basic understanding may not be sufficient for the dentist to confidently deal with surgical situations, and this understanding may be lost with time if not applied. The Master's programme in Medicine consists of a series of internships and a researchproject in different hospital departments and other medical institutes.

The first year of the Master consists of 4 internships. The internships take place in the UMCG and Martini hospital in Groningen or partly in one of the satellite hospitals in Assen, Delfzijl, Stadskanaal or Winschoten.These internships each last 10 weeks, divided in a 5 week training in the clinical training center of the UMCG and a 5 week internship in one of the hospitals mentioned.Year 2 of the Master consists of 10 to 12 internships, which take place in a hospital in the North of the Netherlands, Oldenburg (Germany) or Curaçao.Jaar 3 of the Master is the year of specialization. You will do an internship of 20 weeks in a discipline and in a hospital of your choice and a research project which will also last 20 weeks.

Job perspectives

After receiving your Master's degree you can continue your work in the hospital to become a medical specialist, like a paediatrician or a surgeon. You can also work outside the hospital and train to become a general practitioner or psychiatrist, for example. COURSE CONTENT

The first year of the Master is a fulltime year in Grenoble or London.
The program covers four key areas of study for Marketers, each of the 19 modules follow a logical connection to the one before.

The content of the program may be adapted from year to year to take into account the needs of industry. Class attendance is compulsory.

Integrative Marketing Case Study

Using an existing business, the “Live Business Case” will provide the students with the opportunity to pull together all the aspects of the program. Students will analyze a marketing problem in the Company and use their skills and knowledge to solve issues and propose solutions. This takes place in small groups and in a limited time. Assessment for the case study will be based on a group assignment with a group presentation to the Company.

At the end of the one-year full time part of the program, each student will be required to complete a Final Management Project of approximately 20,000 words in length, under the guidance of a GGSB tutor.

To successfully complete the Final Management Project, you are required to address a particular research question or knowledge gap in the field of your study. This will be business oriented and coherent with your program's objectives. A student may choose to write his/her project on a topic grounded in his/her internship experience.

The MSc Career Coaching programme has been designed to reflect the growing interest in career coaching by individuals seeking to manage their career development more effectively; and by organisations who want to develop the talent and resilience of their staff. This level of interest is reflected in the progression pathway for talent management that features in the National Occupation Standards (NOS) for Career Development set by the Career Development Institute (CDI). The course will therefore appeal to UK and international students who are existing human service professionals who want to develop their career coaching skills; those who are considering entering the role; and existing career coaches who are seeking a course that is professionally accredited by the CDI (subject to approval).

The MSc Career Coaching with Professional Experience, is an extended full-time Masters programme with a substantive professional experience component. The program contains three required core seminars totaling 9 credits to be taken by all students enrolled for the degree program: LNC 501 on linguistics, LNC 502 on interpretive strategies, and LNC 503 on cultural studies. These seminars will all be offered each academic calendar year, shared by both schools, and will be taught online, to allow students in all languages to create a forum together.

Additionally there is a general curriculum of 12 semester hours in French, which includes courses in communicative proficiencies and cultural competencies.

Courses may be offered in all six academic sessions of each calendar year, including both semesters, the three summer sessions, and the winter session.

To complete the master’s degree experience, students also choose 12 semester credit hours from elective options, in accord with their experience, needs, and future professional career plans. Internship Periods

Internships in the industry once the Master’s classes are completed. They are professional incorporation internships and can be from 3 to 6 months. The school is in charge of coordinating costumized internships for the students both nationally and internationally.

Accreditation

Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management by the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Sant Pol de Mar and the Universitat de Girona.

For students who are graduated by official college career also obtain the Diploma of Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management from the University of Girona.

For students without official university studies obtain the university Diploma of Specialization in Culinary Arts Management.

Teaching staff

The team includes:
- Lecturers of kitchen operations, at a theoretical and practice level.
- Industry professionals: consultants and restaurant managers and chefs of international reputation

Admission and Enrolment

- Request information about the required study program.
- Submit the Curriculum Vitae, stating the professional previous experience and education in the gastronomy sector.
- Coordinate and have a personal interview with one of the members of our Board of Directors.
- Request the admission form.
- Pay the enrolment fee.
- Hand in the admission form completed along with all the information requested. All documents must be current originals and certified by the pertinent bodies.
- Make an official free pre-enrolment established by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Admissions Department will inform about all the requirements needed for accessing the Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management and give advice on all the procedures for enrolment.

Study scholarships and financing

EUHT StPOL has a study Help Fund for studies in its school. The aim of this fund is to facilitate the access to the educational programs to those candidates that, due to economic reasons, have difficulties to enroll. They are granted in a percentage basis of the total basic or academic cost of the course up to a 50% with basis in the academic record and the economic power of the candidate and of those who finance his studies.

Beneficiaries of Grup Serhs scholarship:

The maximum amount of the aid together with the Serhs scholarship shall not be more than the 50% of the academic basic amount.

Non Beneficiaries of Grup Serhs scholarship:

The maximum amount to be received is the 50% of the academic basic amount

Open to graduates holding degrees in any subject, this course assumes no prior knowledge of public relations (PR) and is suitable for UK, EU and international students wishing to progress their academic knowledge of PR. It is also suitable for those who do not have a degree but who possess relevant experience.

Combining a unique blend of academic and practical public relations skills, the course will enable you to develop a successful career in an incredibly dynamic sector. With a strong emphasis on application of knowledge to practice industry skills such as PR writing, media relations, digital communications and client management are underpinned by academic rigour focusing on PR strategy, campaign planning and PR specialisms.

You will have the opportunity to work with real clients, including individually creating a press pack for use by a client, in addition to working as part of an account team on a live PR project.

Postgraduate internship programme

Employers look favourably on candidates who can demonstrate relevant and practical work experience. All Masters students at the Business School are encouraged to undertake an optional, short-term internship with a real business in order to develop relevant experience relating to their studies.

The Postgraduate Internship Programme is an optional unit which allows you to gain up to fourteen weeks of work experience in a business environment; putting your studies into practical application, at the same time as gaining practice credits, which are recorded on your degree qualification transcript.

A dedicated Placement and Project Coordinator will guide you through this process, by sourcing and advertising suitable roles throughout the year, offering 1-2-1 application advice, and supporting you to make speculative applications to source your own Internships.

Internships can be part-time or full-time but must fit around your scheduled classes.

The MA Environment, Politics and Globalisationprogramme is aimed at providing students with an in-depth and critical awareness of the politics and geographies shaping environments at a range of interrelated and ever shifting scales. In this context the programme involves a broad and reflexive interpretation of the terms ‘environment’, ‘politics’, and ‘globalisation’.
