Product and Service Innovation and Global Logistics
Examines the interconnection of an entrepreneurial mind-set and its role in the process of product and service innovation in a private, public or third sector. By critically appraising effective and responsible marketing solutions for sourcing and global logistics, students will develop a portfolio of how to take their innovation to market and realise its benefits internationally.
Developing Personal and Professional Competence
Enables students to identify, understand, develop and articulate their key personal abilities in the context of their future career aspirations. Consumer-Led Sustainable Marketing
Delivers a critical, in-depth understanding of consumer-led sustainable marketing practices. Students are introduced to the concept of customer insight and its role in marketing decision-making. The module evaluates the psychological, social and economic roots of the discipline of consumer behaviour and relates these to contemporary consumers.
Global Branding and Integrated Marketing Communications
Provides students with a critical understanding of how a brand may be marketed via digital communications and placed within the global marketplace. Various sectors including fashion, luxury, travel, entertainment and technology are explored while providing students with an in depth understanding of branding theory.
Research Project: Design and Methods
Introduces students to research approaches, time and project management skills essential for their dissertation and similar tasks in the future. The module provides essential knowledge of research design across key areas and adopts a critical perspective in comparing and contrasting alternative research models.

This course will introduce you to the key aspects of supply chain management and place them in a wider business context. The modules lay the foundations that will allow you to expand your knowledge in supply chain management, international business and management studies.
You'll focus on the problem-solving element of operations and supply chain management, and at the same time gain an awareness of key theories in international business, supply chain management and management studies. You’ll focus on managing and designing value chain networks and global logistics. You'll also develop practical techniques and a critical awareness of international strategic management, as well as an understanding of organisational behaviour. You’ll explore systems thinking to understand how individual elements contribute to a bigger problem and take further modules designed to build your professional skills.
All of these aspects of your studies come together in your dissertation, in which you’ll conduct research on a topic of your choice in depth to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.

This programme employs a variety of learning and teaching methods including lectures, seminars, tutorials and group discussions. The modules will utilise methods of learning, teaching and assessment which are appropriate to Masters level study, such as group discussions, presentations, and report writing. Although a proportion of the contact time will be spent in teaching, emphasis will also be placed upon the use of group and independent learning. Discussion and interactive sessions will encourage you to critically examine key elements of fashion retail and management further. You will have the opportunity to hear from external academic and professional speakers from the fashion and retail business world, and it may be possible to participate in retail colloquiums.

This programme is designed for those who want to work in supply chain engineering, management and logistics. It provides the essentials of management theory and practice, whilst increasing the depth and scope of your technical engineering knowledge.
The programme focuses on the supply chain in its entirety, how to construct it, set up operations, manage the input, control operations, and distribute the end product. It opens up the key issues of supply chain management and introduces you to the modern approaches to doing business in this context, teaching you to evaluate, manage and enhance the supply network.
You will be taught jointly by the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and the Business School and will study alongside students from all around the world, who have come to Exeter from a diverse range of business and engineering backgrounds.
Successful completion of the programme will equip graduates with a range of skills applicable to many areas, most notably manufacturing and service companies, particularly for roles with responsibility for the supply chain, purchasing, logistics, procurement, materials and engineering management.
This programme is modular and flexible, carrying 180 credits in total and offering flexibility in choice of modules studied.
MSc International Supply Chain Management consists of eight core engineering, business and management focussed modules totalling 165 credits, which includes the 60-credit Engineering MSc project, and one 15-credit option module.
The programme begins in September each year and the taught elements are concluded by May. The Engineering MSc project, under the personal supervision of a research expert in the chosen area, continues until September.
