The Postgraduate Diploma in Child Nursing is designed for students who already have a degree and are looking for progression and further challenges which can be fulfilled by undertaking a rewarding and lifelong career within the nursing profession.
The aim of the MSc in Nursing - Child Health and Wellbeing is to provide a solid academic base to the understanding and development of nursing practice in the area of child health and illness.
Each year, the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership commissions a number of fully funded places for this programme. To receive this funding, students will have to commit to working in Wales for 18 months, following the completion of their course.
This MSc/PG Dip is the professional qualification for nurses who wish to gain entry to part three of the NMC nursing register as a health visitor or school nurse.
