Earn your Master's degree in Strategic Communication for Marketing to learn how to create strategic, targeted communications that build meaningful connections between consumers and the brands they choose. You will gain the tools to understand how consumers think, make decisions, and act on these decisions. We offer two tracks in our 40-credit graduate program: Planning Market Communication, which emphasizes overall strategy and planning, and Creating Market Communication, which focuses on content and implementation. The program can be completed in one and a half to two and a half years, or in one year with our accelerated full-time one-year cohort option. The program consists of three core courses, three required track courses, and four electives.
With the program electives, you will have the opportunity to emphasize consumer research/behavior, global brand management, digital marketing, or managing the creative process.
With the accelerated one-year cohort option, you will complete the same required core courses and a balanced curriculum of additional courses, finishing with the Capstone.
The cohort model focuses on building a strong community. The MA in Luxury Brand Management equips you with the management, entrepreneurial, marketing and professional skills to work in the luxury goods and experiential luxury industry.
The luxury brands sector encompasses the fashion and retail industry, as well as sectors such as tourism, hospitality, food and beverage, film, digital media, dance, music and theatre. This MA debates the concept of luxury in a historical and cross cultural context, and offers a strong academic underpinning on theories of luxury and consumption. Today the Brand Manager represents a key figure of the company, and should be a connoisseur of the brand, an innovator prepared and competent and a skilled tactician. The Master in Brand Management and Communication forms professionals able to create, develop and manage a brand awareness through all the tools of marketing and communication.
Students learn the secrets of brand strategy (tangible values of quality and performance and intangibles values related to the image, reputation, visibility and reputation) in order to ensure the success of a product, create business and develop business capital. The Master is organized in two editions, the first in November in Italian, the second in February, in English.

The combined Masters degree in Communications and Project Management enables students interested in a career in corporate communications, public relations and strategic and cultural communication to acquire expertise in the planning, implementation and management of projects and programs. The addition of project and program management skills enables graduates to access more strategic positions in their organisation and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. The MSc Marketing and Brand Management focuses on planning and applying brand management strategies. You will learn about the importance of brand management within an overall framework of marketing and business management.
If you begin your course in September you have the choice to apply for an 8 month paid work placement in a marketing role instead of completing either a dissertation or client project. By gaining this professional experience you will be well prepared for your future career.
You will develop a strong foundation in marketing theory and practice, combined with a specialist perspective on brand management, including brand values and a wide range of related communication channels.
This course will prepare you to work for a branding or marketing agency or for a marketing, branding or communications department within an organisation. With practical case studies and live scenarios, you will apply brand management theory and analyse and critique what makes a successful brand. You will study eight compulsory modules and a module which helps develop your professional and academic skills. Much of the teaching on the course takes the form of interactive workshops, but there are also lectures from staff and visiting speakers. Lectures, discussions, role-play exercises and seminars are linked with selected case studies and assessments to strengthen your practical analysis and decision-making skills. You will gain practical experience and put your knowledge of marketing approaches and theory into practice during live research projects for an organisation. We offer an International Business in Practice Study Trip module. The purpose of this study trip is to give postgraduate students a hands-on, intensive experience with the ideas and practices of global business. The programme will include presentations from local management executives and experts. Students will have direct interaction with management executives and practices through site visits to major corporations and agencies.
This study trip is voluntary and all costs associated with the trip will need to be funded by you. It is not linked to university assessments in any way. The idea of the Specializing Master comes from the profound change of the Brand system, a change that has put into crisis the traditional communication systems.
The Specializing Master is aimed at those who wish to do creative work with contemporary professional skills according to the profound transformations that communication professions are facing in the transition from Advertising to the new Brand Communication System.
To prepare young designers to deal with this new scenario, creative communication projects for traditional and new media will be proposed, under the direction of Creative Directors of the most important Italian and international communication agencies.
During the Specializing Master, students will acquire the necessary skills to start a career as Art Director or Copywriter in communication agencies as Digital Art Director, Digital Copywriter, Content Creator, with the ability to interact with all the processes and professional figures within the workflows.
