Anglo Danish Society William Charnley Anglo-Danish Scholarship

The Anglo-Danish Society exists to promote closer understanding between the UK and Denmark by arranging lectures, outings, social gatherings and other events of interest for its members and their guests. The society administers scholarship funds which help Danish students visit the UK or British students visit Denmark, for the purpose of advanced or postgraduate studies.

The William Charnley Anglo-Danish scholarship is awarded to postgraduate students taking an MPhil, MASt or LLM at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge:

• The scholarship is for the fixed amount of £2,500
• Open to Danish postgraduates and British students who have taken their first degree, or other postgraduate course, at a Danish university
• The scholarship is designed to supplement student’s other funding
• It will be paid in instalments over the academic year
• Applicants can be studying any subject

Eligiblity criteria

• Students must be taking an MPhil, MASt or LLM course at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge
• British students must have complete their undergraduate degree or other postgraduate course at a Danish university

• Applicants must provide two recent references in English
