Herbert Smith Freehills Cercle Montesquieu Scholarships Entente Cordiale

The Herbert Smith Freehills scholarship is open to any French student wanting to study law in the UK. You should be enrolled onto a full-time LLM at a UK university for the academic year the scholarship has been granted for.

Funding is awarded for one year only and should concern studies in these specific disciplines:

• Business law
• International banking and finance law
• Intellectual property/technology, media and communications law
• Labour law
• Energy and infrastructure
• Litigation and international arbitration
• Tax law
• Property law
• European or International law

How to apply

To apply, you’ll need to fill out an online application form which is available on the British Council France website. You’ll need to attach the following documents with your application form:

• A CV
• Transcripts of your previous degree(s)
• Two academic references
• Offer letter from a UK university
• Supporting personal statement
