The Sir Richard Stapley Educational Trust supports postgraduate students in the UK with proven academic track-records who are in financial need. Grants are typically between £550 and £1,250 for the academic year.
The grants are available to students of any nationality, so long as they will be studying at a UK university and living in the UK for the duration of their degree. Grants can be used towards a postgraduate course in any subject, including medicine, dentistry of veterinary studies if taken as a second degree.

Applications open in January each year, and remain open until the trust has reviewed the maximum number of applications it can consider. This is usually around 300 – approximately half of which will receive funding. Make sure to get your application in as soon as possible!
The application process involves filling out an application form, which will include your reasons for undertaking the course, your plans for the upcoming year, your income, predicted expenses, and details of an academic referee.
