The Costume Society, a registered charity, was formed in 1965 to promote the study and preservation of significant examples of historic and contemporary costumes and with a constitutional aim of providing education in dress studies.
The Yarwood Research Grant is awarded annually to a Masters student by The Costume Society and celebrates the history of dress and/or textiles. Any UK student who has made this the focus of their final project or dissertation can be considered.
All applications must be made by email to costsocmembershipsecretary@gmail.com, and include ‘Yarwood Research Grant Application’ as the subject. In your email you should provide:
