Hi, i would like to search for a good uni in London itself for Media and Communication Studies OR Marketing Communications. Any current postgraduate students can share their thoughts pls? A view from an international student will be great!

Thanks. Yes i would love to go to LSE but as u said it is competitive. I has shortlisted some media studies at Brunel, City, Surrey, Birkbeck, Royal Holloway or Bath. I am still confuse. :-(

Did you check out Goldsmiths?
It is a good school (my friend did there a semester abroad) and looks like it is easy to get in:
You should have an undergraduate degree of at least upper second class standard in a relevant subject. If your first language is not English, you normally need a minimum score of 7.0 in IELTS (including 7.0 in the written element) or equivalent.

Yes, i did check on Goldsmith and i know they are quite reputable in Media and Social Science. But i've been to that area, i am not very keen of it. But still i am considering it. Thanks (up)

Sabrina, I am in just the same shoes as you right now. I have fallen in love with Leicester, Brunel, and Goldsmith, city,university of Leeds, bedforshire, west London, Greenwich, Kingston, and Westminster.
I am interested in media and communication but I do not mind some relationship with PR or Marketing. What is my best shot among these universities?
