Experience in organizational psychology

User: Barnaria - 24 February 2018 22:18

Hello, I’m currently doing my MSc in organizational psychology in UK but since I live on another country in EU where organizational psychology is not so popular I’m looking to gain some experience by doing remotely work\volunteering. Does anyone know any company where I could do that?

I would imagine any large company with a Human Resources department would be a good place to start but this really is not my area I'm afraid.

Does your uni have a careers service? That would be a good place to go. Also, ask about mentoring. Some unis have mentoring services where alumni offer placements (or just distance mentoring in some cases) to current students. I guess this could be done remotely, if your UK uni offers it.

In very rare you can find the mentoring in uni. But some schools might allow distance mentoring (I am not sure).

Hmmm, your question is a little bit complicated, a lot of students face some problems. But if I were you, I would try to find some companies in my area, which would be relevant to your experience and field. Then I would find some contacts or go there personally to ask if there is such a possibility to work/to volunteer. Send as many emails as you can, and, sure, you will find a company or an organization which will help. This is not the best variant and it is quite a time-consuming one, but you can try to do that.
