Seeking help on choosing the proper masters degree in Maths from Ireland

User: samuel77 - 07 September 2016 20:14

I've a B.SC degree from the Faculty of Science - Maths department & I've worked as a Math teacher for preparatory / secondary levels in several schools in Egypt.

For some reasons, I'm not happy with teaching in schools and I'm looking forward to take it up a notch to teach in universities or community colleges as an adjunct teacher (or similar positions) so I'm thinking seriously about a masters degree in Maths in Ireland.

The problem is that I'm not sure about the minimum credits I should be looking for in the masters program to help achieve my ultimate goal of being acknowledged to teach in universities / community colleges.

I'm also more inclined to finish this study within 1 year full time to minimize the associated cost of the whole process to the minimum but I'm OK with 2 years if I have to.

Do you have a specific question we can help with? Which country are you looking to study in?
