MA Fashion Marketing & Communication

The MA in Fashion Marketing and Communication provides students with a deeper understanding of the theory and practice of current and future trends in fashion media, promotion, strategic fashion marketing, communication and branding. It offers students the opportunity to creatively explore the theoretical and practical application of innovative fashion marketing in order to satisfy current and future consumer demands in developed and emerging markets.

Topics covered include:
• The Fashion Communication Taxonomy
• Branding
• Supply Chain Management
• Globalisation
• Graphics
• Fashion Consumption

Study and Support
• Lectures and seminars are delivered by NTU tutors, invited practitioners and other visiting professionals.
• Students receive individual and group tutorials, and are given opportunities to undertake interdisciplinary work as well as regular peer-review presentations.
• Overseas trips are arranged to enhance students’ understanding of international fashion markets. Past visits have included trips to Paris Fashion Week, and Premiere Vision: Antwerp and New York.
