MA Creative Writing |
| This MA offers a practical training in the craft of writing. Students take modules in fiction and poetry, which consist of writing workshops. They will also take a module on narratology and poetics, which offers a theoretical approach to the writing process. There is an innovatory module on the contemporary publishing industry, the role of the literary agent, and, the production and marketing of literary work. The writing portfolio (which forms the 'dissertation' element of this MA) provides the experience of sustained, long-term personal engagement with a major writing task. |
