This specialist MSc is a unique combination of contemporary issues in social, economic, and environmental sustainability and entrepreneurship education.
This course is one of the first of it's kind in the UK, and is the flagship programme of the Business Schools International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ICCSR). You will also benefit from the support and expertise of another of our internationally recognised research centre's, the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The course includes a variety of optional modules in management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility. With its international reputation the course attracts students from all over the world who bring a wide range of experience and knowledge which you will benefit from.
This course has been developed as a route into careers in responsible business and sustainability in the corporate sector, NGOs, third sector, government, business and investor consultancies, and academia.
I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the students on the CSR masters course became a close group of friends. In the very first month we were given the opportunity to meet at the first ‘social drinkers’, an informal event, hosted each month by ICCSR, together students, academics and professionals discuss various issues surrounding (although not limited to!) corporate social responsibility.
As well as providing the opportunity to meet like-minded people from all over the world, the course frequently exposes you to new ideas and opinions on sustainability and social responsibility. The field of CSR is by no means a narrow one and by the end of the course everyone has developed their own opinion area of interest.
Now that the teaching has finished I have found there are a wealth of career options in this area – many of which require or prefer a Masters degree. It has therefore provided that all-important edge, highlighted by the prestige of studying at a leading global centre for CSR.
