The MA Education is designed to meet the needs of teachers, lecturers and trainers who are keen to extend and enhance their professional qualifications and expertise. It is a highly flexible programme enabling education practitioners to study on-site at the university as well as in the workplace. Taught modules can be combined with flexible and negotiated modules to accredit a wide range of professional knowledge and development.

• The programme is open to those without a Bachelor’s degree providing you have relevant professional experience.
• You will gain a recognised qualification which may be used towards meeting continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
• Some of the modules included on this course are offered in conjunction with our partner organisations.
• Two intakes per year (October and February) provide students with a structured route that is relevant to their professional needs and enables them to develop transferable skills in their relevant field of education.
• It is possible to use evidence from previous study or experience relevant to the subject to claim for Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
