About the course

Introduction

The Master in International Business and Management (MIBM) programme is an 18 month, full-time programme for graduates of business-related disciplines. The programme challenges you to apply business management theory to current international business practice and to solve issues from a boardroom perspective. It prepares you for international management positions by focusing on corporate strategy, marketing, operations, accounting and human resource management, all from an international business perspective. Moreover, you learn how to work in intercultural teams and run business processes while safeguarding environmental and social sustainability. This programme is designed for students with a wide interest in international business and management, who are aiming at a management position. The MIBM offers you the opportunity to spend your second semester at the Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in Cambridge, UK and obtain two master degrees within 1,5 years.

Entry Requirements

- A relevant bachelor degree in business accompanied by a transcript that holds the following courses: Human Resource Management, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Management.
- English language proficiency should be proven with an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no subscore below 6.0) or a TOEFL score of 575/Internet 90.
- A 2-3 min. video in which you explain your motivation and skills. The Admissions Committee can request for additional supporting documents or examination in the form of an (online) interview.

The Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme was first launched in China in 2008 and now also runs in Brazil, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico and Russia. The programme is a collection of scholarships offered by Dutch higher education institutions, multinationals and government institutes. The scholarships are managed and promoted by the Nuffic Neso offices in the participating countries.

The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to study in the Netherlands. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

* You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
* You have to actively study at Hanze UAS and participate in classes and all projects in the Netherlands.

Application Procedure

If you wish to become eligible for the scholarship, you first have to apply for the programme itself. After you have been admitted to the programme, you will receive an email with an invitation to apply for the scholarship through the admissions officer of the programme. You will get a link to the online Holland Scholarship application tool from Hanze UAS. You will be informed about the result of our selection in July at the latest. Further practical information concerning procedure and payment will be sent to you as soon as you have been selected.

The Hanze Scholarship programme offers scholarships to master's students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to pursue their master's degree at Hanze UAS, Groningen. The scholarship is a contribution towards to costs of living in the Netherlands and is, in principle, awarded for the nominal duration of the programme.
