Student Profiles

Josa Reers

The combination of tourism, environment, and culture in the offered format is unique and provides the opportunity to cover a wide spectrum of subject areas. At the same time, individual interests can be pursued through the large selection of courses and seminars. Numerous guest lectures and the on-site excursion ensure that theoretical content is linked with practical experience.

Florian Wilhelm

What makes the master's program particularly unique is that everyone has the opportunity to tailor the academic focus to their individual interests. There is a wide selection of modules and seminars that allow students to shape their studies according to their own visions for their professional future. The extensive range of language courses and cultural spaces were the decisive factors in my choice of studies. Additionally, Passau shines by offering a familial environment both academically and in everyday life.

Zora Sabisch

Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the program, students with diverse backgrounds and from different disciplines come together, which leads to engaging conversations and informative knowledge exchange in lectures, seminars, or over coffee after class. I particularly appreciate the manageable size of the master's cohort, which results in a very personal relationship with the faculty members and quickly fosters a sense of community among the students, making it easier to settle in Passau.
