Course focus
The course has a cost, contract management, and procurement focus, making it particularly appropriate to applicants wishing to gain a stronger insight into these aspects of the cost management and construction business.

Quantity surveyors manage all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. They aim to minimise the costs of a project, ensure value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Accreditation
The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), enabling successful graduates entry to the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) of the RICS; a prerequisite for full Chartered Surveyor status.
