Why did you choose your course at NTU?

"Before I joined the course I'd completed an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and Design Management. I chose to study Project Management as I wanted to develop my overall knowledge of the industry and prepare myself for a career within construction. I also felt that a masters in Project Management would make me more employable; especially in the difficult economic climate.

"The course at NTU worked for me as it was run over two days every week allowing me to both study and work part-time. This helped me financially but also developed my industry knowledge and experience.

What were the highlights of your course?

"The highlight of the course was the business module that concentrated on company accounts and assisting their profitability. It was a topic area I had not encounted and is now knowledge I find extremely useful in my current job.

"The facilities at NTU were fantastic, our studies were concentrated around the newly developed Arkwright and Newton buildings, which provided an excellent environment to learn in each day. The course content was up-to-date and relevant to the industry. A number of the modules introduced new subjects fields to me as well as furthering my current industry knowledge base.

"Since completing the course I've gained a job as a Project Manager for Buro Four which is a consultancy firm in London. I use the knowledge and skills I learnt on the MSc course on a daily basis. I'm currently working on two city centre commercial office developments for a leading London developer."
