Attending the University of Warwick for my LLM in Advanced Legal Studies was obvious to me. After successfully completing my undergraduate studies in France as well as an ERASMUS year at the University of Warwick, I had a strong desire to come back to a leading university in the United Kingdom. I was indeed looking for an intellectually challenging and international environment, and the University of Warwick was therefore the best choice.

I chose this LLM in Advanced Legal Studies at Warwick because of a specific characteristic, it allows for students to choose their modules from a wide variety of modules offered by the three other LLM programmes at the Law School. I was able to make my own ‘menu’ of the modules I found interesting without any restrictions, therefore shaping my LLM to my own interests as well as my own career.

Throughout this year, I had the opportunity to develop useful skills for my career – thanks to the practical side of the modules – and to discover new areas of international law taught by highly experienced professors. Moreover, this year has also been important for my personal development as I met students from all around the world, discovering new cultures and new legal systems, and making friends – or hopefully future colleagues! Doing my postgraduate studies at Warwick was definitely one of the best choices I have ever made during my studies.
