The award of £4 million pounds over five years recognises our commitment to innovation and excellence in learning and education. We have also been awarded Skillset Screen Academy status, (www.bournemouthscreenacademy.net) We have established highly productive relationships with the media industries which reinforces our outstanding reputation. Our postgraduate courses are recognised by both the industries and professional bodies, and can provide placement opportunities. Our engagement with industry is further recognised through accreditation by major training bodies including Skillset, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the National Council for the training of Journalists (NCTJ), the Periodicals Training Council (PTC) and the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC)
