Why study a Masters in Poland?

Postgraduate study in Poland is an opportunity to take advantage of the country’s modern, forward-thinking higher education system. Polish universities follow the Bologna Process, which means courses will be accredited and recognised worldwide. Poland maintains a policy of free tuition for EU/EEA nationals at its public universities. Combined with the low cost of living there, this makes Poland one of the most affordable places in Europe to study. Poland’s location at the centre of Europe is another big draw for international students. Sharing borders with seven other countries, Poland is a member of the Schengen Area, making travel to neighbouring countries convenient and hassle-free.

If you’re an EU/EEA national, you won’t need a visa to study in Poland. However, you will need to apply for a residence permit once you’ve arrived in the country (EU/EEA citizens can only stay in Poland for 91 days without a permit, and your Masters will last longer than this). If you’re not an EU/EEA national, you’ll need to apply for a visa before you arrive in Poland. As this student visa will only be valid for 12 months, you’ll probably also need to apply for a residence permit at some point.
