Masters Degrees in Engineering

We have 2,319 Masters Degrees in Engineering

Masters Degrees in Engineering provide the advanced skills and training needed to work as a qualified engineer in various specialised fields. Many programmes are officially accredited, giving you the opportunity to become a registered professional.

In the UK, Masters-level Engineering programmes often award the MEng (Master of Engineering). Unlike other Masters degrees, this is a single four-year undergraduate qualification.

MSc courses in Engineering are also available. Some are specifically labelled as ‘MSc (Eng)’ programmes. They will normally require you to have completed a three-year BEng (Bachelor of Engineering).

All UK Engineering Masters qualifications must be recognised by the UK Engineering Council (ECUK) in order to grant chartered engineer status.

Why study a Masters in Engineering?

Engineering is a diverse discipline, with employment opportunities in a range of construction, design and manufacturing fields. You might create new transport solutions, design and oversee important civil engineering projects or even develop cutting edge defence technologies.

Engineers also develop impressive transferable skills. A Masters in Engineering will demonstrate advanced organisation and problem solving expertise, training you to think through unique challenges and come up with efficient and innovative solutions.
